Nadia Vuilleumier was born in 1987 in la Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. She graduated in French Literature and Art History at Neuchatel University and the Sorbonne in Paris.
Photography has been a passion of hers since she received her first DSLR at the age of 16.
Long seduced by the ancient and enigmatic Persian culture, she lived in Kerman between 2013 and 2021. She is now based in Switzerland and is studiying for a Master in MIddle East Studies.

Nadia Vuilleumier est née en 1987 à la Chaux-de-Fonds en Suisse. Elle a étudié la littérature française et l’histoire de l’art à l’Université de Neuchâtel et à la Sorbonne à Paris. La photographie est une passion depuis ses 16 ans et son premier appareil photo.
Séduite depuis des années par l’ancienne et énigmatique culture persane, Nadia Vuilleumier a vécu à Kerman en Iran entre 2013 et 2021, où elle était guide touristique et professeure de français. En parallèle, elle n’a pas cessé d’explorer et de photographier ce pays complexe et captivant. Elle est actuellement basée à la Chaux-de-Fonds en Suisse et suit le Master Moyen-Orient de l’Université de Genève.
